About the airbrush artist;
Hi, my name is Miriam. I've been airbrushing since 1994. Up until then I have worked with many different mediums such as watercolor, oil paint, clay, wood and stained glass and more. Airbrushing has given me a new attack on life. There are so many different surfaces that I have painted on that I never thought I could or would, such as busses, conversion vans, wall murals, toilet seat covers, portraits, motor cycle helmets and tanks just to name a few. I went to Kutztown University to earn my Bachelor of Science in Art Education and went on to teach K thru 12 grades for a few years. For nine summers I was the Arts and Crafts Director at a church camp. As time went on I found it harder and harder to find a full time position in the teaching field. I took many odd jobs to pay the bills.
I decided I wanted to learn how to airbrush. I took the lessons and a week later they hired me. From there I went on to painting anything and everything that paint would stick to. I enjoy what I do so much that I look forward to a chance to paint. I look at each job as a new challenge, and it is very rewarding to see these ideas come to life. I work out of a shed my father converted into a workshop. I have the freedom to be creative any time of day or night!
There are hundreds of pictures of my work, I have just a sampling of my work shown here.
I will add some from time to time so check back every now and then.
